    The Dalton cabin was started by Irwin E. Dalton in 1942 with one room, (currently the dining room). He expanded it by one room in 1946 and with a larger addition in 1968 and one last room to the north in 1978.

    Jon W. Dalton took over the cabin in 1985 and expanded the cabin to it’s present size.  Jon passed away in 1999, Nancy Dalton his wife owns the cabin today.
